Hello, fellow wood workers. My name is Mark Sodano and I have been wood working and building furniture by hand for 25 years. One of my passions is building miniature pieces of classic antiques such as Chippendale ,Federal, and Queen ann. I try to use as much recycled wood as possible, such as pallets, old dressers etc. Sometimes I find pieces of broken antique furniture and use the wood, nails and screws. It's really rewarding and exciting to see the finished product. Another nice thing is that it doesn't take a lot of wood to build small furniture.
I use all hand tools , and dove tail all joints where possible.
